PHYSICAL THERAPIST - SIGN ON BONUS!
POSITION SUMMARYTo evaluate, plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to assist patients inrehabilitation and in reaching their maximum physical capabilities.
Exempt (Salaried - Not eligible for overtime)MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSWork experience may NOT substitute for minimum education requirement.
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLSPlans and provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate.
Implements timelydischarge from treatment including patient/family education, creating a home trainingprogram and referrals for follow-up services and equipment as necessary.
Acts as clinical instructor or mentor for Physical Therapy and Physical TherapyAssistants, students and new employees.
Completes evaluations and assessments of assigned patients in accordance with theestablished guidelines and standards of care and practice.
Completes stat sheets and charge slips for each patient prior to the end of the shift.
Submits equipment charges for all patients that received billable equipment.
Participates in departmental in-services, new programs and quality improvementactivities that promote Physical Therapy, safety and staff development.
